What's new? What's coming? What's in production? New glass ideas? Check out my blog here...
This page is paused temporarily for a re-vamp, which means that whilst you can see products, you cannot purchase at this time.
It is time for a refresh and tidy up along with a reshuffle and products update, plus a whole new range is due in the Spring.
Should you wish to contact me please email email@example.com.
Well, here we go again!
Time to get the mojo back and play in the studio making Christmas for friends and family ...
I took part in an online glass course recently and have been inspired by learning a new technique - I love the structures and colours so it will keep me busy ... watch this space for new stuff!
All my live fairs have been cancelled or postponed this year which is sad, although many events are still continuing online which is great. I have chosen to limit my range and sell solely via this website and local shopping sites, so whilst I have a lot of jewellery posted at present, Christmas decorations and deco-cards (a gift and card in one) will be listed asap.
Today's task: taking decent photos in rubbish weather ... all part of the fun!
Many thanks for your continued support. Please feel free to email me with any particular requests and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Best wishes and #stayhomestaysafe
Welcome to Summer!
Whilst I haven't been very productive over the last few weeks in terms of glass work, the studio has had a spring clean and is definitely more organised. I am now ready to get back into a creative groove (whilst trying to figure out yet another version of reality as lockdown starts easing).
Many craft shows and fairs have been postponed or cancelled, but I'm hoping that the increase in online sales (small but significant!) will continue and that there will be some markets re-opening in the run up to Christmas - yes, I will be making decorations very soon! Watch this space!
Thank you for your continuing support, and see you soon!
I am now re-opening this site but only for jeweller and little bird pictures, since these items can be easily posted. All postage on these items is free.
There is a lovely selection of bright shiny earrings and pendants, all ready to wear in this glorious sunshine (whilst social distancing of course!). Bird pictures are really popular, with no two the same. and both make great gifts too so why not treat yourself, or a friend ...
All items will be cleaned well including packaging but postage might take longer than normal due to coronavirus. Thank you for being patient.
My new glass work is much reduced at present whilst I am sewing scrubs for the NHS with a small local group ...
In the meantime, #stayhomestaysafe
March 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE
The World has changed! There is a lot of uncertainty and fear, and a real sense of urgency to #stayhomestaysafe. At present myself and my family (including very vulnerable parents) are all well which is a blessing.
I have been creating at a much slower rate as my priorities have changed significantly. For everyone's safety and peace of mind, I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING NEW ORDERS for at least 3 weeks. All existing orders have been fulfilled and posted before the lockdown, and I shall be staying home rather than risk spreading the virus. I trust that you will understand, and I will update when things change.
If you are interested in seeing more of my creations, some old, some new, I am participating in @joannehawker's #marchmeetthemaker challenge, a daily post throughout March highlighting different parts of being a craftsperson. It has been a lot of fun, but also thought provoking for me, plus has occupied lots of time away from the new reality - phew!
Best wishes and stay safe,
New Year, New Look...
Well, I have played with the look and feel of this site and limited my product range.
I like to stock up early in the year with pendants and earrings and get lots of the background admin done - it means less time out in the shed (sorry, studio) in the cold, and lots of "ideas" time too. I hope you like it.
I have had some issues with approving comments on this blog, so my apologies for not replying - I will try and sort it out asap. Should you have any comments or queries, please feel free to email me, Heidi, on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Best wishes for a great 2020
